Second Floor (Stairs)  |  King + Queen Sofa Sleeper + Banco Beds  |  Connecting Room  |  $275 - 400

A private stairway under the branches of an old elm tree, leads to this second floor, spacious and luxurious king junior suite with views on three sides of Taos Mountain, the Sangre de Cristo Range, and the historic residential La Loma Plaza, circa 1790. Named for local artist Carey Moore who painted here, this room is a bright, open space with handcrafted furniture, a large wood-burning fireplace, leather sofa that can be made into a sleeper, window seat bancos, perfect as beds for young children, and a table and chair area.

The  suite provides guests with a mini-kitchenette, set off by a wooden bar with stools, that  includes a  microwave, sink, mini-refrigerator, toaster and tableware.

Newly renovated, we invite you to enjoy the marble-tiled bathroom featuring a walk-in shower with rain-forest shower head, body sprays, hand-held shower wand, and double sinks. This room includes air conditioning, Keurig coffee/tea service, flat screen TV with VCR/DVD, and complimentary WiFi.

Step outside to a private sitting area and enjoy your coffee as the birds sing their morning song from the treetops surrounding you. Carey’s Studio can connect with Happy Trails Room via a private second floor breezeway to create the Taos Mountain Suite.
